# WooCommerce and WordPress

## WooCommerce and WordPress

Nimora connects WordPress and WooCommerce sites through the **Nimora – AI SEO, Product Media & Analytics** plugin.

### What the plugin does

The plugin connects the site to the Nimora service for:

* SEO audits and metadata updates
* Image alt text and JSON-LD workflows
* AI blog content, product photos, and product videos
* Visitor analytics, session replays, and heatmaps
* Approved publish-back actions

### Platform requirements

WooCommerce is required for product catalog syncing, product SEO automation, and product media publishing.

WordPress-only sites can still use supported content, media, publishing, and site-level workflows.

### Setup overview

1. Install the plugin from WordPress.org or upload the ZIP.
2. Activate **Nimora – AI SEO, Product Media & Analytics**.
3. Open the Nimora settings page.
4. Confirm the locked Nimora API server.
5. Create WooCommerce REST API keys with read/write access if you need product workflows.
6. Add the consumer key and consumer secret in the settings.
7. Optionally create a WordPress application password for post, page, or media publishing.
8. Save settings and connect the site.
9. Enable analytics only after privacy and consent requirements are ready.
10. Enable session recordings only after analytics is enabled and consent is ready.

### Privacy defaults

Storefront analytics and session recordings are off by default. They load only after an administrator enables them.
